When Ed and I wintered in Gibraltar with our boat, I ate several Ploughman's lunches with Branston Pickle, and would get it in jars in the local supermarket to use on the boat. Are you near that factory too?
Paula - Yes, beautiful barrel rings, but they're behind locked bars and you'd have to invade a fort to get to them! :o)Jean Baardsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05434387984631853462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2543625963104186421.post-64670614293777810312009-06-18T14:55:51.874-04:002009-06-18T14:55:51.874-04:00all i can think is OH MY GOD I WANT ALL OF THOSE B...all i can think is OH MY GOD I WANT ALL OF THOSE BARREL RINGS AND I WANT THEM NOW
fun place, thanks for showing us and telling us some history too!phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10669096127325145722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2543625963104186421.post-52706445227922509242009-06-18T14:47:20.002-04:002009-06-18T14:47:20.002-04:00I love this idea Jean. I haven't seen Heinz pickled onions in years - Haywards or supermarket brands are all we get now.
RosRosa-Mundahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04977324190264726670noreply@blogger.com
